Would be great to have XML feed of status available, so we could create an applet/gadget to show users how many calls are waiting, who's on calls etc.

This is a software package that needs to be purchased on your end?

How about perhaps getting a "sponsorship" from the
program creator? Where their potential corporate non-hosted clients can try the software here before they commit to installing it on their servers.
